  Pick your own apples

Beginning mid-September and running thru late October, apple picking is an experience you won't want to miss.  Mondays thru Fridays you may drive out and park next to the very tree you've chosen to pick from.  Saturdays in October you'll enjoy taking a wagon ride to and from the orchard.  We have a large variety of apples including:  Red and Yellow Delicious, Cortland, Macintosh, Jonathan,Empire, Rome, Fuji, and more. 

  Apple Pickin' Spree

Come kick off fall with us the last Saturday in September from 10-5 at the Apple Pickin’ Spree. This outdoor event is fun for the whole family.  Enjoy wagon rides to the orchard where you can pick apples. Visit Pumpkin Land with two hay mazes, scarecrows and farm animals.  Shop from the various craft exhibitors and enjoy delicious treats from food vendors.  Pick up everything you’ll need to decorate for fall – gourds, pumpkins, cornstalks, and straw.  While here you can visit our bulk food store.  Its filled with all sorts of goodies like snack mixes, home baked goods, candy and more.

      Pumpkin Land

What is Pumpkin Land?  Pumpkin Land is a fun out door play area.  Silly scarecrows look on as children enjoy two hay mazes.  One hay maze is geared toward our younger guests with its open roof letting in lots of light.  The other larger maze is dark and fit for those of you who are more courageous!  Besides those scarecrows, there are also a variety of farm animals living in Pumpkin Land.  This makes for a real farm experience.

     Field Trips    

One of our favorite things to do at Apple Hill is the field trip.  This experience is both educational and fun.  Children ride the wagon, pick apples, have “class time”, play in Pumpkin Land, and taste fresh cider.  They learn how to harvest apples, what occurs before harvest, and where the apples go after harvest.  While most of our visitors are pre-school and elementary school aged kids, we welcome Senior Citizens and those with special needs.
